The 7th Annual Strike Out ALS Softball Tournament at Glover Field in Pelham will feature an all day barbecue, a Steiner Sports silent auction and raffle items ranging from a flat screen television to sporting event tickets. The event will also feature face painting and plenty of fun for the kids and activities are planned all day. Proceeds from the tournament will be given to Columbia University ALS Gift Fund.
The event will move to the later in the evening, where raffle and auction winners will be annouced.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.
