Members of the Pelham Police Department along with the Pelham Fire Department will be playing a charity softball game against The Danny Fund. The game will be played this Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Prospect School in Pelham Manor starting at 11:00a.m.
After the game there will be a reception at B&B’s 5th. Ave. Pub located at 531 Fifth Ave. in Pelham. Donation of $25 at the door includes beer, soda and food. All monies raised will go directly to The Danny Fund organization.
The Danny Fund is an organization that provides financial, emotional and advocacy support for the families of children under the age of 21 who reside in Westchester and the Bronx and are suffering from a catastrophic illness or injury.
The goal of The Danny Fund is to prevent the financial and emotional collapse of these families by providing the assistance needed to help them remain stable. The Danny Fund is a 100% volunteer, Westchester-based non-profit organization.
