Real Estate Brokers Supporting Breast Cancer Walk

Goal: Top $37,000 raised in 2010.

More than 250 agents from 26 offices of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty have pledged to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to be held in multiple locations throughout the Hudson Valley on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Company employees became involved in the walk last year after the death of a colleague who lost her battle with cancer. More than 100 agents from 16 offices participated in the event and raised more than $37,000 for the cause through a variety of donations, auctions, tag sales and other fundraisers.

This year, more than 250 agents from 26 offices are participating in walks being held at Woodbury Commons in Orange County, Dutchess Stadium and Manhattanville College. The company has numerous events and fundraisers planned, with hopes of raising even more money than last year.
