Rob Astorino claims "Families don't go to Playland anymore." But when I was there on a…Read More rainy cold opening day on Saturday, I was SURROUNDED by nothing but families - even HIS family was there. They all came out in the lousy weather to have a good time. Parents and kids and grandparents and every combo of aunt uncle cousin etc. you could imagine, all different colors, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, many different languages being spoken, everyone happy to see the place open again, getting along, smiling, having a good time. I think I was about the only person there who *wasn't* with kids. Families families families. But...don't you know...families don't go to Playland anymore? People love Playland.
