Pelham Middle School eases the transition from elementary to high school by offering its students a rigorous academic program, within an intimate and supportive class setting. About 24 teachers make up the major discipline area classes and team-teaching helps foster a close rapport between students and teachers.

At PMS, students engage in a host of enriching subjects including the Renaissance, foreign language (Spanish, French, Latin or Italian), art and cross-discipline studies, such as design and engineering in science, math and technology.

Students are exposed to multiple uses of technology when they study biotechnology and digital music (among other topics) in the school's new technology suite and have a chance to pursue their passions outside of the classroom when they choose from a hosts of extra-curricular clubs and sports to join.
